Compliance Manager

Compliance Manager             Monday – Friday                  8:00 am to 4:00 pm  (40 hours flex)

The Compliance Manager will provide direct support to the Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO).  Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

 

  • Maintain knowledge of state, federal and agency laws/regulations and ROC policies/procedures, related to all ROC services.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to ensure appropriate conduct.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status and to identify trends.
  • Assist in developing auditing systems to maintain all individual program plans, ensuring the development, documentation, and expenditures are in compliance with all federal/state regulations.
  • Assist in examining records of departments; interview employees to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and assure that all assets are safeguarded.
  • Assist in identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of the Compliance Program and related activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
  • Works independently on projects assigned by the CCO and/or the CEO, in the review and coordination of programs.
  • Maintain appropriate training and certifications to ensure ongoing understanding of all regulatory and accreditation standards/conditions that govern the organization.
  • Receive and maintain certification for drug testing for the organization. Assisting the CCO with employee drug testing as directed by CEO.
  • Assist in the development, updating and implementation of HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain filing system for the Administration of the organization.
  • Assist in creating databases and spreadsheets; generating reports for tracking compliance information.

 

Applicate must have the following:

 

  • Degree in Related Field (Preferred)
  • 2 years’ experience in a management position
  • Advanced Computer Skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Effective Organizational Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Competent and grammatically correct use of English Language
  • Valid Driver’s License
